Spring Concert Schedule

Howdy folks! There are some great shows coming up both in town and out. Here are the dates and venues:

It goes without saying that if you don’t recognize the name of the venue then the show is probably not in your town. To make sure you can click the poster to head over to our Shows page for addresses and venue info.

In May we’ll be opening for a fantastic band out of Winnipeg called The Bros Landreth: “Slide guitar, blood harmony, and heart-on-your sleeve songwriting, The Brothers Landreth specialize in love gone bad and cowboy lullabies. Have a look and listen for yourself:

Believe it or not folks that show is free admission. The same goes for the one at Brutopia Brew Pub a few nights later.

That’s all for now. We’re looking forward to being back on the road and seeing some familiar faces.

See you soon!

New songs on Edge of the City

On Monday we popped in to the Montreal Improv to visit with Paul Aflalo on his program Edge of the City. While we there we played a couple of new songs, one called “With You is Where I Belong”, and another called “Let You Fade Away”. Click the image to listen to the show. We start playing just shy of the 35 minutes mark, but you really should listen to whole thing…

Our friend Sarah Morasse from the Wildwood Family was there as well to talk about, among other things, the kerfuffle with their band name and why they had to change it. It’s a funny story with a nice twist at the end … Paul also played a track off of the amazing record that they released last year.

And of course we took advantage of the opportunity to promote our upcoming show this Friday night at Quai des Brumes. The Wildwood Family will open the show, and we’ll take to the stage shortly after their set. Click the poster to RSVP.
