Happy 2014! Let’s get some shows and some new music going

Congratulations, you made it through another holiday season. That wasn’t so bad now, was it?

Alright so let’s get the new year underway. We’ve got a show lined up in Montreal on Friday February 28th at Quai des Brumes with the incredibly infectious (in a good way) The Wildwood Family. And there is a strong possibility that they will lend their voices to sing the backup harmonies on everyone’s favourite “I Stand in the Weeds“.

We’re also planning on having plenty of new songs for you so this is not a show you’ll want to miss. Bring your dancing boots and let’s kick up some dirt and snow! Click on the image to RSVP:

New music: “Dead Man’s Pedal”

Back in January we visited the studios at McGill University to record with graduate student Jeremy Vanslyke. The result is the following version of “Dead Man’s Pedal”, a song of Andre’s that just missed the final cut of “I Stand in the Weeds”.

And since it was part of a publicly funded research project, we are offering this song to you absolutely free. Just click “download” in the player below. If you like what you hear tell us by posting on our Facebook page, commenting on this post, or sharing this song with your friends and family.

See you all soon!
